Through virtual and physical site visits to National Labs, DOE, and strategic partners, OSELP immerses its Fellows in the singular breadth, diversity, and complexity of the National Labs, DOE, and their partners, and provides them with a unique opportunity to engage deeply with senior Lab leadership and explore innovative ways to improve the DOE and National Lab collective enterprise.
These site visits—in concert with the development of strategic think-pieces—offer Oppenheimer Fellows a unique, systems-level understanding of the capabilities, challenges, and opportunities facing the DOE and National Labs.
Fellows work in teams throughout their fellowship to research and develop think-pieces that tackle major organizational, policy, scientific, other challenges within DOE’s mission areas.
